I am web developer who works with the Ruby programming language. Your project is really interesting and I would like to participate in case you are looking for something other than PHP to work with.

Thanks for your interest. At the moment we are very keen to get any web developers on board, however the entire backend has been coded in PHP, so moving to Ruby is not really an option at this point. Do you have any frontend coding skills like Javascript?

Great site, this idea is fantastic. I'm a front-end coder and graphic designer and I could help you pretty up your site somewhat if you'd like, it's looking pretty good but could use a bit of CSS tweaking to get it looking really sharp. Let me know if you'd be interested in me giving you a hand. :)
